Interesting Automated Data stuffs

The second useful third eye

Augmented reality offers an interesting perspective on the possibility of a 'second, artificial, third eye, which would actually record (and document through social comparison, or any type of comparison, using a network + search/compare engine + modeling arenas).

The problem: translating visuals and cues from sensor collectors in a useful dashboard for the user.

Privacy policies as Sandy Pentland discusses, the new deal on data.

Story, then journal, now "Texting" all the time is a humans attempt to record their lives.  So let's just help them out!  If we can do it automatically, a new paradigm emerges.

Harnessing a modeling arena

Use Second Life as a modeling arena.  Take 'real-time' data flows and inject them into the modeling arena.  This platform would potentially be used as a consortium of research.  Define a few other variables and you can start running some interesting tests.  Modeling emergence in human dynamics would be rather interesting.
